Who is responsible

Simon Corby is responsible for the personal information used to respond to enquiries and arrange coaching conversations. Contact simon@simoncorbycoaching.co.uk with a question or request about your information.

When you get in touch

If you email me or book a conversation, I use your name, contact details, booking information and what you choose to tell me to respond, arrange our conversation and discuss whether coaching is suitable. Please keep booking notes brief. You do not need to submit a private written reflection, health history or sensitive personal story.

Responding to an enquiry and making arrangements you request may involve steps before entering a contract, or my legitimate interest in handling business enquiries. Marketing email requires a separate appropriate basis; booking a conversation does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

The services involved

This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. Booking opens Calendly on its own website; Zoom provides the meeting. IONOS provides my business mailbox, and Google Calendar handles appointment scheduling. These services may process information outside the UK. Their privacy notices explain where information is handled and the safeguards they use. Contact me if you would like more information about the providers involved in your enquiry.

Read Calendly’s privacy notice, Zoom’s privacy statement and OpenAI’s privacy policy.

Website measurement and your choice

With your permission, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits, referring websites, browser and device categories, country and page performance to help me improve this website. The analytics script stays off until you choose “Allow statistics”. Cloudflare says its Web Analytics service does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors, or fingerprint people. It does not record the query strings in page addresses.

You can refuse statistics and still use the whole website. Use “Privacy choices” at the bottom of any page to change your mind. If you switch statistics off after allowing them, the page reloads to stop the analytics script; information already sent is not recalled. A Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser setting also keeps statistics off.

I save only your yes/no choice and its expiry time in this browser’s local storage for 90 days. That preference is used only to remember your choice. It is specific to this browser and website address. Clearing site storage resets it. Cloudflare makes statistics available for up to six months. Read how Cloudflare Web Analytics works and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

There is no advertising pixel, newsletter form or embedded booking widget. Booking links include fixed campaign labels to help identify where an enquiry began. Personal details are not put in those labels. Hosting providers may process connection and security information to deliver the website. Booking confirmation and contact details are not sent to Cloudflare Analytics.

How long information is kept

If an enquiry does not lead to coaching, I will normally delete the associated enquiry and booking records within 12 months of our last contact, unless there is a specific reason to retain them, such as resolving a complaint or meeting a legal obligation. Separate information about coaching records will be provided before an ongoing coaching relationship begins.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing, and request a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Email Simon using the address above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
